Meadowlark Trails Subdivision
Douglas, Wyoming
This residential subdivision, located in Douglas, WY, consists of 195 lots. JKC Engineering took over from another civil engineering firm on this project to complete the design and provide construction services. The infrastructure for this subdivision is nearly complete and the developer is currently selling lots.
Heritage Hills Addition
Casper, Wyoming
Beginning in 2013 with Heritage Hills No 2, JKC Engineering is providing design, platting and construction support for this residential subdivision at the south boundary of Casper. The project runs along a regulated drainage which requires a CLOMR and LOMR process through FEMA in order to modify the drainage channel. JKC Engineering continues to provide engineering services to this client as they move further south and continues to annex property to the City of Casper.
Casper Youth Baseball Complex
Casper, Wyoming
JKC Engineering was selected in 2007, 2011, and 2013 to provide engineering design services for Casper Youth Baseball's "Field of Dreams" project. In 2007 the infrastructure (power, water, and sanitary sewer) and the first three fields were constructed with a total construction cost of $2.1m. In 2012 JKC was once again selected to complete one more field, the construction of Jane street, and the paving of 3/4 of the parking areas. The total construction budget for 2012 was $1m. In 2013-2014 a concessions building was added and the final fields and the remaining parking areas were completed.
Special Wastes and Diversion Facility
Casper, Wyoming
JKC Engineering was constructed in February 2009 to provide civil engineering design and surveying services for the new Special Wastes and Diversion Facility under Randall W. Hein Architects, the architect on the project. JKC Engineering services included topographic survey, roadway and parking design, construction drawings, and construction staking. This project received a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) status of Gold upon completion of the project. In the future, we look forward to being involved in challenging projects such as this.
Buck Creek and Ironwood Apartments
Powell, Wyoming
These apartment complexes in Powell were constructed in 2013. JKC Engineering provided a pre-construction ALTA / ASCM (American Land Title Association / American Congress of Surveying and Mapping) survey, topographic surveying, site and drainage design, and utility infrastructure design. In addition, JKC provided construction management, construction staking, and an as-built ALTA / ASCM survey.
The Back Nine
Casper, Wyoming
JKC Engineering worked for Becker Development to design an 82 lot Planned Unit Development. JKC Engineering's services included subdivision layout, roadway design, drainage plans, municipal water and sewer systems, a PUD Site Plan, subdivision platting, construction management, and construction staking. We continue to provide surveying support as homes are being built.
15th and Beverly Intersection
Casper, Wyoming
In the Spring of 2009, JKC Engineering was awarded a contract with the City of Casper to survey, design and aid in the reconstruction of a dangerous intersection. With a total project cost around $800k, the project involved roadway design, topographic surveying, right-of-way determination, easement exhibits, construction staking and inspection. The project was completed in the Fall of 2010. We are proud to have been a part of this reconstruction project and are looking forward to participating in our next municipal street project.
Lincoln Park Townhomes
Dickinson, North Dakota
One of our many specialties is urban housing projects. Haan Development builds housing in many of the western states and we are proud to be part of the design team for Wyoming and North Dakota projects. JKC Engineering provided a pre-construction ALTA / ASCM (American Land Title Association / American Congress of Surveying and Mapping) survey, topographic surveying, site and drainage design, and utility infrastructure design. In addition, JKC provided construction management, construction staking, and an as-built ALTA / ASCM survey for this 72 unit townhome complex project.
